This is the supreme representative body of the Barcelona Metropolitan Strategic Plan - presided over by the president of the AMB – and formed by over three hundred institutions, organisations and individuals that make up a broad representation of the civil society of the metropolitan territory.
The Council's main functions are approval of the budget and its final execution, approval of the Strategic Plan and also the modification of its articles of association.
